Job Description

Seeking a bookkeeper / administrative assistant to handle a variety of tasks expanding into areas of business development and marketing for a furniture manufacturer / wholesaler based in Toronto. We are a small but rapidly growing company with five years in the contemporary design industry. Located in the west end of downtown Toronto, we design and manufacture furniture, for sale mostly in the USA but also throughout Canada and overseas.

Job Description

  • Accounting:Employee payroll, maintain warehouse inventory and create purchase orders, monthly reconciliations, quarterly HST reporting, Accounts Receivable
  • Business development: searching for new retailers, distributors, designers and architects and making initial contact
  • Marketing: posting brand updates on social media channels
  • General administration: catalog updates, inventory updates, order processing – from accepting PO’s to providing clients with tracking info


  • Excellent English (Spanish / French an asset)
  • Experience in bookkeeping
  • Attention to detail and organization
  • Sales experience an asset

Company DescriptionAt Innit we specialize in contemporary steel and vinyl (PVC) furnishings. We manufacture new and modern designs by hand and export to our wholesale, retail and commercial clients around the world with drop-shipping service within North America. Innit started out by exporting furniture from Mexico to countries around the world. Seeing a big market in the USA, we started manufacturing north of the Rio Grande. We now have over 600 sku’s and the company has been growing rapidly with some of our pieces now being considered modern classics designs.
