Requisition #: 95102 Job Title: Senior Analyst, Credit Country: Canada State: Ontario City: Etobicoke Employment Status: Full Time Job Responsibilities: (Description): The Senior Analyst is an integral member of the Finance team for the ES Canada business. This role manages the entire credit lifecycle of a client, making decisions from the on-boarding process through to monitoring accounts on an ongoing basis. Essential functions includes providing independent credit analysis and making credit decisions within assigned authority for new and existing client risk relationships while ensuring compliance with internal guidelines and policies. In addition, this role will be leading the development of KYC screening process for new and existing clients ensuring compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: · Management of entire credit lifecycle of clients. · Lead in delivering and performing historical trend and ratio analysis, assesses cash flow, industry risks and any other risk factors to provide risk assessments and recommended actions. · Interact with client’s CFOs/Controllers, V.P’s of Finance and Presidents to review financials health including onsite client visits when required. · Interact with Senior Sales Leaders, District Managers and Sales Representatives to gather information relative to a customer being analyzed including communication of credit decisions. · Establish Funding terms and Risk Tiers for all new and existing clients. · Manage all escalations from Sales, Banking, Implementation and Service Delivery; provide directions while ensuring compliance with ADP Canada Credit Risk Policy and Risk Matrix Business Initiatives. · Perform enhanced due diligence reviews as it pertains to KYC/AML regulatory requirements for all clients. · Develop a credit pre-screening matrix for new client sales orders to identify any credit concerns prior to implementation. · Identify areas for process improvements along with developing, maintaining and implementing process solutions for the Credit Risk team. · Monitor client base for changes in predictive risk scores; identify trends that may impact ADP negatively. Experience, Skills, Academic: QUALIFICATIONS: 8 + years working experience in a Credit Risk environment. Solid understanding of Credit & Risk Assessment. Superior knowledge and experience in analyzing financial statements. Experience in developing scorecards & dashboards. KYC/AML experience within Financial Services industry. Working knowledge of Dun & Bradstreet & Equifax Credit reports including knowledge of DnB Risk Scoring models. Strong critical thinking, problem solving and analytical skills , be able to identify key issues and recommend clearly defined solutions and / or response. Strong communication skills. Strong knowledge and use of Microsoft Excel, Access, Word and Power Point. EDUCATION: Business/Finance or Accounting Degree and/or Accounting designation EXPERIENCE: · More than 8 years of working experience in a Commercial Credit, Finance or Banking environment. · Work experience in “Know your Customer” (KYC) matters and topics, including the ability to develop and implement processesProven experience with Risk Management.
