We hope you will become a part of it! We are seeking an energetic, highly effective Inside Architectural Sales Representative (for Spectrum / Artofix).

Recognized for our product expertise and experience, we put together accurate project quotations and provide timely distribution that is a huge time saving for our clients, and essential to our world class sponsors. Our team of young, friendly professionals have strong problem-solving abilities and work effectively handling multiple tasks.

As our Inside Architectural Sales Representative (for Spectrum / Artofix), you will:

  • Deliver business results by building Spectrum and Prospec into leading North American Locker brands;
  • Understand competition’s products with their specifiable differences and pricing;
  • Understand and provide quantity takeoffs on architectural drawings;
  • Compose shop drawings and technical documents;
  • Quickly learn about our locker brand and products to have the ability to explain and articulate these systems accordingly while speaking with a range of professionals (home and commercial property owners, engineers and architects, and contractors and installers);
  • Provide support to our outside sales representatives with estimating and technical support;
  • Complete Revit based shop drawings for our manufacturing division;
  • Become the expert and the go to person for all technical product information;
  • Use specifications, drawings, and related inputs to determine pricing for Spectrum LockersNegotiate and apply discounts to distributor’s quotations;
  • Liaise with product distributors and manufacturers to establish and build relationships;
  • Follow up on quotations to secure jobs;
  • Coordinate production & delivery with fabrication and distribution dept. to ensure customer satisfaction;
  • Collaborate with marketing to develop best in class marketing tools.

As our Inside Architectural Sales Representative (for Spectrum / Artofix), you must have:

  • A college diploma/university degree in Architecture or related field is preferred;
  • 1-3 years of prior experience in a similar role within the construction industry;
  • Excellent skills with AutoCAD, BIM, and estimating software;
  • The ability to interpret construction documents and specifications, knowledge of local Building Codes;
  • An understanding of construction bidding and tender process, as well as an overall knowledge of architectural products;
  • Intermediate to advanced level of skill in Microsoft Office; especially in Excel and Word;
  • Reliable self-starter who can work independently or as a team member;
  • Must be able to perform under tight deadlines and work in a fast paced environment;
  • Strong analytical, organizational, prioritization and time management skills;
  • Knowledge of Fishbowl Inventory Management or equivalent is considered an asset;
  • Prior customer service is considered an asset;
  • An outgoing personality with exceptional communication skills, both written, verbal and presentation skills with excellent fluency in English;
  • Superior organization and work ethic, with a professional demeanor and appearance;
  • Ability to speak fluent French an asset.
