Division: Operations

Job Overview

Division Description The Operations group is responsible for managing the mechanical scope of our commercial constructions projects in the Greater Toronto Area. They manage client relationships, supplier and subtrade relationships, and ensure project delivery. The group works closely with the Sales and Estimating team in order to transition projects seamlessly for clients.

Role Description The Project Coordinator will support the Project Delivery Team(s), working to managing projects throughout their lifecycle. They will assist with ensuring overall project performance รขโ‚ฌ" this includes the management of costs, scheduling, quality assurance, risk mitigation and stakeholder communications. Reporting to the Project Manager, they will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with the clients, subcontractors and vendors; managing and escalating concerns; tracking and reporting against project progress; and suggesting areas of improvement to ensure projects are delivered to clients on schedule and within budget.


  • Assist in planning and preparing construction schedules
  • Assist in budget analysis and forecasting
  • Assist in the implementation of quality control programs
  • Support all field staff
  • Managing drawings, change orders and site instructions and maintaining document controls
  • Attend site meetings and visit job sites as required to support the project team
  • Coordinate with subcontractors
  • Aid in material purchasing o Participate in company-sponsored training seminars and courses on an ongoing basis

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Minimum post-secondary degree in Mechanical Engineering or a college diploma in Construction Technology, with applicable field experience
  • Construction industry experience
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience using Bluebeam or a comparable PDF reader
  • Experience using Estimating Software Experience
