Flipp is transforming the way retailers tell their weekly story. As a key member of the Flipp team Business Development team, you will be responsible for using a consultative approach to help retailers through the change of print flyers to dynamic, personalized digital flyers by up-selling Flipp’s flyer technology platform to top North American retailers. You’ll be one of the primary points of contact for the C-Suite within our clients, helping to identify sales opportunities, increasing spend levels and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction within your portfolio. Youll work with Fortune 100 companies in the Retail/Media space, engaging them with a solution that has already earned leading market share.

  • Business Development 70% and Account Management 30%
  • Regular account reviews/cross-selling with existing clients
  • Increase sales and average transaction size by up-selling, add-on sales and cross-selling
  • Build and manage a strong business development pipeline and maintain the highest levels of client satisfaction
  • Create persuasive sales presentations, leveraging strong knowledge of market trends, product features and internal analytics
  • Collaborate with technical teams across the business to ensure superior sales opportunities
  • Increase fill-able quotas for Retail Partners flyer distribution strategy
  • Manage Retail Partner relationships and ensure quotas are being filled correctly
  • Analyze campaign performance statistics and recommend optimized solutions

Experience You Bring to the Team

  • You have 8+ years progressive growth in a B2B solution sales or account management role with a track record of exceeding sales revenue goals and client retention/loyalty targets
  • Prefer someone who has experience using a consultative sales approach and has closed complex sales in the past – prefer those who have experience working in the technology/software world
  • You have vertical sales experience and have acted as a subject matter expert to your clients
  • You have experience delivering fascinating presentations in front of various sized groups
  • You know how to navigate corporate structures to identify key decision makers
  • You enjoy staying ahead of the curve with a knowledge and interest in emerging technologies
  • You have previously worked with corporate retail clients and understand the sales cycle. Understanding of media management is a plus
  • You excel (pun intended) with Microsoft office, Google Documents and Salesforce
  • You are a self-starter, highly effective working independently and with limited supervision
  • You are an effective solution seller, able to provide prospects and clients with numerical business cases.
  • You possess excellent communication and relationship management skills at the C-level
  • You have a passion for learning and an open-minded perspective to understand Flipp’s disciplined approach to business development
