Job Description

KMR Innovations Inc. is looking for a:

Manager of Technical Services

This role will be accountable for delivering on multiple large- scale infrastructure projects while ensuring ongoing service level agreements (SLAs) are met on issues pertaining to infrastructure and service desk support. In addition, the Manager of Technical Services will lead and develop a team of professionals who are responsible for network infrastructure, telephony, server infrastructure and Tier 1 service desk support.

Position reports to the Senior Director of Information Technology

Responsibilities:

· Management and delivery of technology infrastructure centric initiatives

· Implementation and ongoing maintenance of network infrastructure including local site LANs, corporate WAN and telephony system to ensure peak capabilities in a fast-moving environment

· Maintenance of both physical and VMware hosted Windows and *nix based servers

· Maintain best practices to Service Desk support and SLAs for a multi-site coast to coast organization

· Accountable for disaster recovery planning and implementation

· Vendor management as it pertains to technology infrastructure (e.g. telco)

· Promote and guide career development for team members to ensure personal growth and success

Qualifications:

· BS in Computer Science or related field. MBA or advanced degree desirable.

· 5+ years’ experience managing technical teams with at least 5-10 people

· 5+ years’ experience in customer services (preferably in ITSM)

· 10+ years’ experience in a technical operations leadership role for a multi-site organization

· ITIL Certification (preferably V3)

· Technical expertise in areas of:

o Windows Server and Red Hat Linux operating systems

o Exchange Email

o VMware

o LAN / WAN management and architecture

o Data backup / recovery and disaster recovery planning experience

o Service desk ticketing software

Excellent written and oral communication skills and a demonstrated ability to work with minimal direction and oversight.
