The Headlines:

Reporting to the President, Scout is seeking a Sales Manager who will be responsible for nurturing, managing and directing an assigned inside Sales team. Focus will be directed towards securing new clients, as well as maintaining existing accounts so that they meet or exceed sales performance goals. As a Manager (along with HR) you will be responsible for continuing to grow the sales team. Using diligent recruiting activities you will ensure an ongoing stream of new candidates.

The Responsibilities:

  • Build a winning team by ensuring the development of our extraordinary talent. Accomplish this though assisting Sales staff in: the maintenance of existing accounts, generation of new business within these accounts, and aid in the development of new accounts
  • Work with Senior Management to improve Scout’s execution quality by helping set performance objectives, and developing strategic solutions to reach sales performance goals
  • Ensure delivery of results by effectively utilizing sales performance tracking data to plan and make strategic and operational choices and decisions
  • Oversee the development of assigned inside Sales staff through effective coaching, feedback, training on policies and procedures, systems, services and selling skills
  • Serve as subject matter expert in the on-going maintenance of training curricula
  • Ensure compliance with Salesforce CRM utilization
  • Grow the size of sales team through new hires

The Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of proven inside sales/account management leadership experience
  • Previous sales training experience
  • Strong selling, customer service, communication and problem-solving skills
  • Well-organized and self-motivated to achieve results
  • Able to respond effectively to multiple priorities and execute in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment
  • Demonstrate a strong ability to inspire collaboration in his/her team
  • Proficient in MSOffice applications, including CRM software – preferably Salesforce
  • Business acumen and financial knowledge an asset
  • Confident decision maker
