Job Description

Sowingo is a growing startup, looking for a Senior Python Developer to join a very passionate and enthusiastic team. Our unique product looks to service a market with an untapped potential. We are looking to expand our dev team and require talented software engineers who will help grow our product.

Join our team and help us build a cutting edge inventory platform geared to streamline office operations. The successful candidate will be involved in design, development, R&D, and drive current development by building efficient and scalable code.

Responsibilities include:

  • Work alongside a small, full-stack software engineering team
  • Deliver well-documented projects and source code in an Agile environment
  • Development of backend code using Python, Flask, Flask-RESTful, Postgres and SQLAlchemy frameworks
  • Participate in testing, staging, and production releases on AWS
  • Collaborating with design to create optimized future specifications
  • Participate in all aspects of the development cycle; providing ownership & driving projects to completion
  • Coordinate and participate in quality control to ensure deliveries are met
