About the Company

VenturX is a mobile/web platform that helps entrepreneurs through their journey from idea to launch and beyond. I am currently working with incubators, Canadian banks and accounting firms to perfect the process and define the right tracking metrics for the first phase – validating the business idea. The end result will be a system that drives entrepreneurs to adopt Lean principles throughout their journey, using gamification to drive their engagement and provide tangible metrics and scoring systems. The end result is a platform that would allow mentors, incubators and investors to assess the maturity of a startup. In subsequent phases, this system will expand to cover more of the startup journey, becoming a great tool to track a startup’s overall progress towards launch, growth and financial independence.

About the Position

  • HTML and coding experience is highly desired
  • Run demo workshops online and collect user feedback
  • Find startup users online via marketing channels and communities
  • Participate and lead online communities for startups to understand needs
  • Help with grants and startup competitions if needed
  • Participate in team meetings
  • Survey startups for feedback
  • Internship is unpaid
  • This position is remote/ telecommuting
