Job Description

We are seeking an Office Administrator for a Fuel distribution company located in downtown Toronto.

Job Details:

Shift: Days- Monday to Friday

Location: Downtown, Toronto

Rate: To be discussed

Job Description: The Candidate will have general office responsibilities including, but not limited to, providing Customer service, dispatching calls, performing data analysis and managing Accounts Receivables.

Job Requirements:

  • Effective knowledge of accounting.
  • Experience managing accounts receivable and collections.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Outstanding negotiation, communication, and listening skills.
  • Strong analytical skills, conflict resolution skills and problem solving skills.
  • A strong work ethic, the ability to be flexible and detail oriented.
  • Skills in Microsoft office (must be intermediate skills in Excel)
  • Familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage)
  • A valid G drivers license

Job Duties:

  • Perform accounting duties pertaining to invoicing, billing and collections.
  • The timely collection and follow-up of irregular/delinquent accounts to mitigate the losses.
  • Analyze information to determine appropriate course of action to maximize recovery.
  • Prepare any payments received for appropriate account credit or posting.
  • Coordinate with the collection agency and ensure the final conclusion.
  • Continually monitor current accounts with past due tendencies to ensure payment is received in a timely manner.
  • Respond to inbound calls related to collections, order and other inquiries.
  • Maintain effective reporting system to provide the reliable and timely information to the management.
  • Perform general office duties such as filing, maintaining databases, inventory management, regulatory requirements, dispatch, order taking, customer relations.
