Supply Chain Coordinator

POSITION: Supply Chain Coordinator
LOCATION: Etobicoke, ON

Lock Search Group is a leading permanent placement recruiting firm and we are currently recruiting for a Supply Chain Coordinator for a leading food service company.

In this role, you would be responsible for coordinating with external suppliers and the internal Supply Chain team to ensure efficient workflows and operations.


  • Act as a key support for suppliers; understand their requirements and develop comprehensive solutions
  • Manage suppliers using their trading statuses, and assist in implementation
  • Develop a strong understanding of electronic integration to deliver the best service to suppliers
  • Maintain strong records and database of partner activity using spreadsheets and systems
  • Create and distribute invoices
  • Liaise with internal teams, such as Finance and IT to assist with resolving invoice issues or Help Desk calls
  • Use EDI transmissions to create new chains
  • Aid in training internal teams on standard best practices (SOPs) for electronic interchange
  • Ensure to follow all necessary standards to resolve issues
  • Assist special projects when required


  • Post Secondary Education, preferable in Technology or Supply Chain
  • 2+ years previous experience in a Supply Chain role
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to resolve issues
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management
  • Technologically savvy with an analytical mindset
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Working knowledge of Supply Chain software
