Regional Certified Collision Manager

Primary Responsibilities

  • Complete audit/Self Audit review, one (1) scheduled and at minimum one (1) unscheduled. These are to be completed to standards and visit reports are to be communicated to the OE Client in a timely manner (within 2 business days of completion).
  • Additional unscheduled audits may be requested by the OE Client for quality assurance and are to be completed within the communicated time frame.
  • Effectively market the program to potential dealer and centers as identified by OE Client and assist in the network growth goals.
  • Leverage a national network of Best Practice Strategies to create and deliver business cases for change, to include clearly defining center benefits for program participation.
  • Document and report all findings in a consistent, sustainable, and comprehensive manner. This includes recording visit details and participating in scheduled conference calls.
  • Complete training that may include systems relevant to the OE Client program (Including but not limited to Training, Collision Link, estimation platforms and business skills).
  • Train/coach center staff on proper procedures and protocol according the client standards, to include OE client tool/system usage.
  • Monitor, drive and take ownership of Key Performance Indexes (KPI) within each assigned center. These targets are set by the OEM and will include but are not limited to:
  • Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI).
  • Cycle time.
  • Repair vs. Replace ratio.
  • Genuine OE Parts Usage.
  • Collision Link Usage.
  • OE Client Support usage and allocation (if available).
  • Number of performed announced and unannounced audits.
  • Network growth.
  • Quality of Repair Estimate audits.
  • OE Program participation, progress, and successful completion
  • Audit repair estimates to ensure quality, fairness, and consistency as per program repair standards. A minimum number of estimate audits will be assigned by the OE Client, per location.
  • Resolve discrepancies in estimation and billing situations when brought to attention by the OE Client and/or insurance partners. This may include researching proper repair instructions according to program standards.
  • Act as a liaison between OE Client, the dealers and repair centers to ensure maximum program participation and success.
  • Participate in events at the request of the OE Client. These events may include, but not limited to NADA, client conferences, team development meetings, and SEMA.
  • Manage travel arrangements in an efficient and cost effective manner per policies

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
  • 3-5 years’ experience in the automotive collision, insurance, or consulting industry, preferably in a collision center or dealer contact role.
  • Prior familiarity with Insurance Claims handling and processes is a plus.
  • Strong relationship building skills working with internal associates, center and insurance partners.
  • Expertise in developing and presenting business cases for change.
  • Strong attention to detail, time management, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficient with all Microsoft applications and a competent understanding of technology and web-based applications.
  • Solid Computer, grammar, multi-tasking skills, and mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to travel frequently in a defined territory.
  • Must possess a valid US Driver’s License and the ability to operate a motor vehicle.
