We need a great Digital Copywriter Reporting to the Sr. Content Marketing Manager and working with a group of talented and committed people across the organization, the Digital Copywriter will help tell BlueCat’s story. In fact, they’ll help BlueCat tell a new story – as we pivot into the world of data and cyber security. In this role, you will be a versatile storyteller, helping establish the company’s brand through blogs, articles, customer stories, social media posts, infographics, videos and more. Writing will be crucial to success, as will a decent technical aptitude. Collaboration, creativity and good organizational skills count, too. Here’s what our Digital Copywriter will do: – Research, report, write, and/or edit content such as blogs, social media posts, customer success stories, infographics, webcast recaps and more – Support the company’s voice and brand, demonstrating our industry leadership, vision and customer focus – Create content that will entice sharing, drive traffic, attract links, new readers, and drive leads – Leverage internal and external experts and influencers to create engaging, informative content – Assist with our internal newsfeed by cultivating and supporting contributors – Help identify, repurpose, reuse, and recycle high-performing content – Use content management and social media tools to publish content directly to the web, including WordPress, LinkedIn and Twitter – Track metrics and use data to make informed content marketing decisions You should apply if you: – Are passionate about telling stories, love to write, and want to do it every single day – Can share examples of your work – Think you’re a better writer than most people (but modest enough to admit you have room to improve and want to learn) – Have some technical aptitude but can simplify concepts into clear English – Have previous reporting, writing, editing and/or content marketing experience – Are marketing savvy, but you’re interested in learning more…a lot more – Are self-motivated, can juggle several projects at once, can prioritize, shift gears, and work within tight deadlines – Are able to work independently and as part of a team, collaborating with colleagues across the organization – Can adapt and succeed in a fast-paced, high-performance culture What you can expect from us: – Competitive compensation – Generous health benefits – Real-time coaching and feedback from your manager and other leaders in the company – A crash course in B2B marketing – An innovative startup culture built by a proven management team – Fun, new friends and great company experiences.
