This position will require experience in various Information Security concepts such as web application security, secure cloud computing, operating system security and security risk management.? Experience in related disciplines and a strong, demonstrated interest in Information Security will be considered. ? The IT Security Analyst will work closely with the Head of Information Security and in direct partnership with individual product groups in the implementation, monitoring and reporting of corporate security infrastructure and programs. This is a hands-on technical role requiring candidates to be current with security tools and solutions, networking concepts, server administration and other related areas. ? ? Responsibilities:? * Act as a member of individual product groups to enhance security by operating software used to monitor and analyze information and raise awareness of events that go against company policies * Design, implement and manage alerting systems, and produce reports based on team and business requirements * Operate on behalf of IT teams in partnership with Corporate Security, Legal and Human Resources as needed. * Develop and implement patch management systems and support the use and adoption of best practices whenever?new features are being added. * Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and researching opportunities to further improve protecting company information * Perform access reviews of unstructured data file shares, etc. and drive remediation by the data owners * Respond to information security alerts and incidents. Proactively hunt for threats and indicators of compromise. Analyze events for appropriate action. Drive incident management process improvements * Work with vendors to source and implement the use of best in class software to support individual product teams. * Perform vulnerability scans and work with other members of IT to remediate as appropriate. * Conduct internal and oversee external penetration tests in partnership with product teams * Generate metrics and reports relating to Information Security as required by management. * Support compliance and audit activities by participating in the audit process and owning responsibility for the subsequent remediation tasks * Monitor developments within application security and ensure internal policies, procedures, tools and awareness programs reflect current security methods such as those published by OWASP, WASC, etc. * Review infrastructure and implementation of new security-based technologies Required Qualifications: * 3-5 years of Information Security experience * Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a group setting as well as independently * Be able to partner with teams such as developers, vendors, analysts, and business clients. * Experience working with Intrusion Detection/Prevention, Anti-virus/Anti-malware, Vulnerability management and scanning, Centralized log management tools, and Data Loss Prevention tools * Strong working knowledge of security and system administration, network, and operating system hardening techniques * Familiar with several areas including, but not limited to: network protocols and standards, IT Control Standards, and ideally Active Directory * Be confident working independently with minimal management supervision, as well as part of a team * Experience handling sensitive and/or confidential material and information with suitable discretion * Experience communicating security-related concepts verbally and in writing to a broad range of technical and non-technical staff? Desired Qualifications: * A willingness and eagerness to learn and grow * Relevant experience with analytical tools (e.g. Excel, Splunk and Tableau) * Security Certifications (e.g. CISSP, GIAC, CISA, or CISM) * Scripting experience (e.g. SQL, Python, or Perl) * Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Networking and System Administration, Engineering, Computer Security, or related * Knowledge of authoritative standards, guidelines, and best practices relative to information security * Excellent interpersonal skills
