Position Description
Under the direction of the HR Director, the HR Business Partner will be responsible for delivering HR Partnership to assigned teams within the Greater Toronto Area Business Unit

We are seeking a capable, experience, independent, self-starter who can add significant value to the HR function by providing best in class HR partnership to the leadership team and members.

As the successful incumbent, you will be joining an exceptional human resources team with an established collaborative management approach and will have the opportunity to work with experienced colleagues across Canada. In our dynamic and flexible work environment you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects and initiatives. Your future duties and responsibilities
• Ensure effective orientation, onboarding and integration of new members
• Participate in or manage employee relations issues; serving as the mediator when issues arise, ensuring that issues are addressed and properly documented, and conducting investigations with support as needed
• Actively advise and provide guidance to managers on performance management, career development plans and performance improvement plans
• Assist the HR Manager to identify areas for improvement, and roll-out various Corporate and Business Unit initiatives, policies and practices
• Support training initiatives including planning and coordination
• Participate in local and national HR initiatives and projects
• Provide HR metrics at the business unit and vertical levels
• Provide ad-hoc reports as requested by Finance, HR Manager, Clients and Managers
• Analyze data through HR reports and offer recommendations based on findings
• Help foster and maintain positive employee relations
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures at all levels Required qualifications to be successful in this role
• 10+ years of progressive experience and demonstrated success as an HR Consultant / HR Generalist
• Generalist experience and knowledge of all domain specialities of Human Resources
• Demonstrated experience in managing employee issues, managing performance, managing conflict, assessing and mitigating risk
• Good understanding of compensation, salary administration and promotion process
• Solid understanding of Employment and Labour Laws
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills with proven ability to understand trends and develop recommendations
• Post-secondary degree in relevant discipline or equivalent experience
• Experience in an IT Services and/or Consulting Environment would be consider an asset
• CHRP certification would be considered an asset
• Familiarity with PeopleSoft HRIS or other HRIS applications would be considered an asset Build your career with us.
