Senior Accountant About the Company In this role, you will design and lead the implementation and on-going process improvement of workflow procedures that will ensure the efficiency, accuracy and completeness of accounting data and the related output. About the Opportunity Evaluate and advise on business operations including revenue and expenditure trends, financial commitments and future revenues Collect and analyze financial information to recommend or develop efficient use of resources and procedures; provide strategic recommendations and maintain solutions to business and financial problems Develop and maintain a reliable cash flow projection process and reporting mechanism, and ensure availability of funds as needed Assist with capital budgetary planning and cost management in alignment with the company’s strategic plan Prepare and ensure timeliness, accuracy, and usefulness of financial and management reporting Compile and analyze financial information and prepare financial statements, including month-end, quarter-end and year-end accounting statements and reports Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close processes Monitor and support taxation requirements Prepare for financial audit and coordinate with auditors Manage fixed asset processing and reporting Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations and integrity of financial data Establish and monitor the implementation and maintenance of accounting control procedures Operate in a multi-currency, multi-company/geography environment, managing transfer pricing and intercompany transactions across the various entities Review all month-end closing activities Oversee accurate and appropriate recording and analysis of revenues and expenses Adaptable and flexible in performing other accounting related duties as assigned in order to accommodate changing business needs and work requirements About You Hold a degree in finance/business and possess an accounting designation (CPA, CA, CMA, CGA) Must have a minimum of 5-7 years of financial experience Experience with consolidation, tax and transfer pricing Knowledge of accounting principles, practices and applications (U.S. GAAP) Excellent command of the English language (both verbal and written) Strong interpersonal and effective communication skills are required as this position interacts with individuals throughout the organization Strong leadership and relationship-building skills Proven multitasking skills Possess strong problem solving skills and process improvement techniques Strong ability to handle multiple interruptions Flexible and must be able to adapt to changes and new information Professional, reliable and committed Self-starter, ability to take initiative Advanced knowledge of MS Office and Excel Self-starter, ability to take initiative Advanced knowledge of MS Office and Excel Salary Range $65,000-$75,000/year
