Your primary job responsibilities for the Territory Sales Manager role include delivering sales results against quota and the development of a sufficient, qualified pipeline to meet high-growth revenue requirements in a highly competitive multi-province sales territory focused on indirect selling through a large and diverse network of authorized distributors. This position will cover Eastern Canada and require extensive travel within this geography. This position requires technical selling skills and the ability to understand and present both hardware and software based solution offerings to distributors and end-user customers.


  • BS/BA degree with a minimum of two years’ experience in complex sales environments with a proven track record of achievement.
  • The primary focus of this position is within the industrial and manufacturing sector, so proven success, knowledge and understanding of these markets are a key requirement for consideration of this position.
  • Required ability to work at all levels within the Indirect Channel organizations to produce results on a consistent basis and build strong business relationships.
  • Ability to understand customer’s goals and objections in order to move sales to a timely close
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with an ability to present to all levels of decision makers in an organization
  • Extensive travel required within the assigned territory.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office: Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel.
  • Position is ideally based in the Greater Toronto Area.

  • You will develop a sufficient, qualified pipeline to meet high-growth revenue requirements.
  • You will sell directly and indirectly and manage a territory of multiple industrial channel partners.
  • You will generate accurate business forecasts that produce consistent and predictable results.
  • You will submit accurate and timely reports of results.
  • You will effectively utilize Microsoft Dynamics CRM as a sales management tool.
  • You will submit business reports and sales documentation as required on a timely basis.
