Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant

Bookkeeper Responsibilities:

  • To assist in recording and reconciling the day-to-day accounting and finance requirements
  • Invoicing, collections, prepare and disburse payments to vendors
  • Post transactions involving cash receipts, disbursements and /or Accounts Payable and Receivable to ledger accounts
  • Processing all Government Remittances such as WSIB, Payroll & Business Taxes & HST
  • Banks and Credit Cards Reconciliations
  • Responsible for processing timesheets and biweekly payroll
  • Any other duties that may be assigned as necessary

Administrative Assistant Responsibilities:

  • Devising and maintaining office systems, including data management and filing
  • Coordinate travel arrangements (both business and personal)
  • Screening phone calls, inquiries and requests, and handling them when appropriate
  • Meeting and greeting visitors at all levels of seniority
  • Making appointments and scheduling meetings
  • Producing documents, briefing papers, reports and presentations
  • Liaising with clients, suppliers and other staff
  • Collect data, preparing and distributing reports
  • Prepare agenda, presentations, proposals, and materials for various meetings
  • Coordinate couriers and mailing of documents
  • Create new folders and labels and format correspondence
  • Handle sensitive and confidential material
