Finance Manager, Sales & Commissions (Hybrid)

*Temporarily remote due to COVID-19 regulations*

 

We’re looking for a Finance Manager to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for leading the commissions team, overseeing the commissions budget and sales policies, and providing sales performance analysis to the senior management team.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Manage the commissions team’s day to day tasks and reconcile against the budget (3 reports)
    • Oversee the reporting Commissions, Bonus, Supplies Compensation, Car Allowance, etc.
    • Provide the commissions forecast and measure forecast accuracy
    • Ensure payroll expenses and reconciled by account/department
  • Manage the long term analysis and KPI reporting relating to sales performance and make recommendations to enhance sales performance
  • Support the sales budget process and be an active member of the budget committee
    • Oversee the budgeting and forecasting of commission, bonus, car allowance and other forms of sales compensation
  • Review, Plan, and Prepare compensation budgets and strategies for the coming sales year
  • Support the migration of our commission system and financial reports to our new Enterprise Management System.
  • Oversee the sales policies, and make decisions in conjunction with the Sr. Manager and VP Sales and Service

What We’re Looking For

  • Post Secondary Education in Business (MBA preferred)
  • Accounting Designation preferred (CMA, CGA), or working towards one
  • Minimum 5 years Accounting/Finance or Corporate Strategy related experience and 2 years of experience managing a team
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to lead, coach and motivate a team
  • Strong knowledge of MicroSoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
