We’re looking for an eager Finance and Operations Administrator who appreciates the challenges and rewards a small but incredibly efficient team environment provides.The RoleThis position will not only provide exposure and hands on responsibilities within the finance and operation teams, you’ll gain valuable insight on business operations while working in a stimulating and supportive environment.Your work will vary from week to week, and will include a variety of tasks including:* Administer full cycle accounts receivable and payable* Answer customer and vendor inquires and calls for follow up* Work with new clients and vendors to accurately onboard them as a client* Create, issue and follow up directly on invoices* Store, update and retrieve operational and financial data; database management* Process payments (i.e. scan cheques, enter appropriate records) * Serve as a support/back up for all things accounting and administrative as requested* Office support as requested/developedThis role is highly valued within our organization where the opportunities for growth and development are constantly evolving for our team members. You value the integrity of your role to the success of the business to ensure all accounts receivable and payable are maintained. Skills & Experience Required* College or University in related field* Polished verbal and written communication skills* Efficient in QuickBooks, Office Suite including Excel, various database applications, etc. * Highly professional, polite and polished with a positive attitude* 2-4 years accounting related experience within a business environment** Ability to multi-task, prioritize & accomplish tasks in a timely fashionWorking at Cantech ElevatorsThis is a full-time permanent position at of our head office in Scarborough. This position will be onsite Monday to Friday during business hours. We have a dedicated team who take the ‘all hands on deck’ approach to making this business successful.
