Investment Management Administrator

AGF Management

This is a Contract position in Toronto, ON posted May 6, 2018.

Objective:

To provide administrative support to Portfolio Managers and Analysts, in collaboration with other team administrators and Executive Assistant.

Key Responsibilities:

•Co-ordinate meetings including catering, room bookings and setup
•Co-ordinate travel arrangements including transportation and accommodations
•Assist in maintaining PM calendars and schedules
•Assist in preparing and submitting monthly expense reports and reconciling credit card statements
•Greet visitors in a courteous and professional manner
•Execute other office duties assigned, including typing of correspondence, filing, maintaining office supplies, photocopying, special projects, etc.
•Direct all incoming calls to the appropriate person
•Represent AGF in a professional and courteous manner

Core Competencies Required:

•Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•2 to 4 years experience in an administrative assistant role, preferably in the financial services/mutual fund industry
•Thorough computer software knowledge including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
•Well developed organizational skills with strict attention to details
•Able to multitask
•Ability to meet deadlines and possess a sense of urgency; work well under pressure and time constraints
•Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding confidential and proprietary material
•Polite telephone manner
•Able to work in a team environment
•Professional presence with an ability to interact with senior management, staff, external clients and guests
•Exceptional customer service skills with a “customer focused” mindset
•Proactive and willing to take initiative
