The Opportunity The Marketing Manager, Foundational Industries supports and reports to the Senior Marketing Manager, Foundational Industries.

Foundational Industries include Consumer Markets, Industrial Markets, Real Estate and Technology, Media & Telecommunications.

The Manager is responsible for working closely with the Senior Marketing Manager and Foundational National Industry Leaders (NILs) on the implementation of an integrated marketing plan designed to meet the objectives of the practices.

The Manager will work with the Foundational Industries Senior Coordinators to execute National Marketing Campaigns, participate in cross-industry initiatives with functions and areas; identify and share best practices; and to enhance overall operational efficiencies.

The Manager will be in charge of leveraging relevant Global, Functional and Industry campaigns to build KPMG’s brand within each sector.

This role will also support the Senior Marketing Manager on special projects and large national sponsorships that are relevant across the portfolios.

What you will do Work with the Foundational Industry Senior Marketing Manager and NILs to drive business goals.

Stay on top of sector-specific insights and trends within the Foundational Industries to profile the NILs and respective practices through content development and social/digital marketing.

Support the Senior Marketing Manager on Annual Sector marketing planning.

Work with the Senior Marketing Coordinators and our internal Agency teams (creative, social, communications, compliance, web) to manage, execute and measure marketing programs, including thought leadership development, national sponsorships, ad-hoc requests, webinars etc.

Promote collaboration by sharing relevant launches, content and best practices across Geographic, Priority and Functional marketing teams.

Own quarterly National Foundational Industry Marketing calls and support NILs on practice building initiatives.

Ensure the Foundational Industries webpages and portal pages are kept up-to-date and that each sector has applicable qualifications/credential packages.

Leverage data to optimize campaigns, create impact reports and foster a test and learn approach.

Drive fresh and innovative approaches to generate greater impact and results.

What you bring to the role 5 years’ experience in a marketing professional services, and/or management consulting environment, with a demonstrated ability to operate in a partnership culture.

Experience working with senior level executives.

People Manager
– Strong performance management experience.

Must be able to lead and coach the Sr.

Marketing Coordinators to create a high-performing function that actively embraces the business values.

Proficient writing, presentation, facilitation, and execution skills.

Digital-first strategic thinker with experience executing content creation, story-telling, digital media, social media best practices and search.

Experience measuring and optimizing campaign performance to enhance customer experience and improve conversion.

Strategic and creative thinker with proven experience in analyzing and drawing insights from external research studies and business data.

Ability to leverage the Firm’s intellectual capital into programs that build the brand and create/enhance relationships.

Awareness and understanding of Knowledge Management and Knowledge Processes enabling a professional services organizations.

Self-directed individual with an eagerness to excel who is accustomed to a fast-paced environment.

Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related discipline; advanced degree preferred.

Prior client service delivery experience
– advantage.
