– North Vancouver, BC Status: Temporary Part Time (0.5 FTE) Start Date: As soon as possible until approximately May 2022 Salary: $37.24
– $46.39 per hour Hours: 0800-1600 Days off: Rotating; work days and weekly hours are negotiable to 0.5FTE but must include Thursday Reference: 144820-eag Come work as an Occupational Therapist with Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH) Vancouver Coastal Health is looking for an Occupational Therapist to join the team at Cedarview Lodge in North Vancouver, BC.

Apply today to join our team As an Occupational Therapist with VCH you will: Deliver occupational therapy services to the residents of Cedarview Lodge.

Perform related clinical, education and assigned administrative duties.

QUALIFICATIONS: Education & Experience Baccalaureate degree in Occupational Therapy or Rehab Medicine (Occupational Therapy).

Current full registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of British Columbia (COTBC).

Eligible for membership in the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists (CAOT).

Current experience in gerontology preferred.

Knowledge & Abilities Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

Ability to deal with others effectively.

Ability to teach.

Ability to organize, plan and coordinate work assignments.

Ability to determine and deal effectively with emergent situations and exercise reasonable judgement when dealing with residents, family and staff.

Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.

Days of work are negotiable, with the exception of Thursdays.

Hours of work can be discussed to a total of 37.5 hours per pay period (i.e.

0.5 FTE) The hours of work including days off and work area may be subject to change consistent with operational requirements and the provision of the Collective Agreement and applicable statutes.

Successful applicants may be required to complete a Criminal Records Review Check.
