Job Description

Position Summary:

As an Account Executive for QHR, you will be tasked with developing new Physician / Clinic sales.

The position offers highly motivated self-starters, with experience in solutions selling in a technical environment, an opportunity to join a successful, dynamic company.

Essential Functions:

  • Locating and selling prospective Customers, in order to meet or exceed your Annual Sales Quota, including:
    • Organizing and/or conducting Accuro® EMR demonstrations to Prospective Customers
    • Ensuring prompt and professional Proposals to Prospective Customers, outlining the fair and consistent charges of QHR
    • Logging and updating relevant sales activities and milestones in Salesforce CRM
  • Assisting in the escalation and resolution of product or service calls, by clarifying the customer’s concerns or issues and taking appropriate action to obtain resolution, including:
    • logging the issues to Support or Development using Salesforce CRM
    • escalation to your Manager, or other managers, as appropriate
  • Attendance at Clinic Manager and/or Physician Conferences, as agreed with your Manager;
  • Participating with the provincial Accuro User Group, to enhance its membership enrollment and educational content, and other purposes as revised from time to time.
  • Secure meetings between SDM/Primacy Affiliate Clinics with QHR Accuro Sales Team to drive the sale of Accuro into the network. (Accuro Sales Team will lead sales cycle)
  • Leverage relationships with existing Affiliate clinics to increase and expedite Accuro migrations as well as HW+ enrollment.
  • Meet with existing Accuro clients to review the value and benefits of the HW+ Network and enroll Providers/Healthcare Organizations into HW+

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Thorough understanding of primary care clinical process
  • Understanding of General practitioner, Specialist and Pharmacists workflow requirements is highly desirable
  • Strong understanding of pharmaceutical sales and marketing
  • Good understanding of medical device sales and marketing
  • Thorough understanding of primary care clinical process

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience selling in at least one of the following
  • EMR sales to physicians
  • Pharmaceutical sales
  • Medical Device sales
  • Health related software
  • Experience with EMR or other application software sales desirable
  • Flawless communication and presentation skills
  • Exceptional prospecting, time and territory management capabilities
  • Customer relationship management as required
  • Experience in clinical management software
  • Must have excellent communication skills, written and verbal

Desirable experience would include:

  • High energy individual with a proven track record in achieving sales targets and selling to medical clinic
  • Strong business development skills
  • Solid understanding of technology and provincial eHealth/ Canada Health Infoway initiatives
  • Excellent influencing and interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster relationships at all business levels
