Marketing Coordinator

Geri Health Home Care

This is a Part-time position in Scarborough, ON posted July 1, 2018.

In this role, you will be expected to work collaboratively with the director to develop and implement marketing plans and communication strategies to build trusting relationship with prospective clients and partners and people in the community as a whole.

Job Description:

· To look out for opportunities to organize and coordinates events where we can show case and promote our specialized innovative home care programs and services.

· To be creative and utilize skills to explore other marketing strategies such social media and print materials.

· To represent the Company in community events and evaluate the appropriateness of events sponsorship.

· To be the resource personnel for informatics and technology of Geri Health home care to maintain our online presence such as website and social media in effective and safe way for visitors and all personnel.

· To answer inbound phone call inquiries and excellent communication and marketing skills over the phone.

· To do some field marketing to senior facilities, hospitals and other related industry locations.

· To balance marketing expenses and track its effectiveness and recommend other marketing plans as needed.


· Degree or diploma in marketing or other business-related education or equivalent.

· One year experience in marketing and experience in home care industry would be an asset.

· Valid Ontario driver’s license and own vehicle an asset.

· Strong communication, both verbal written communication.

· Goal oriented, detail oriented and organized.

· Advance knowledge in website maintenance, graphic designs and social medias and Microsoft office etc.

· Demonstrates initiative, resourceful, able to work both independently and as part of a team.

· Demonstrates positive attitude, outgoing but focus to meet deadlines.
