– Richmond, BC Status: Regular Full Time Start Date: As soon as possible Salary: $34.32 per hour Hours: 0700-1500 Days off: Saturday, Sunday, and statutory holidays Reference: 147643-ndh Come work as an Electronic Instrument Control Technician with Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH) Vancouver Coastal Health is looking for an Electronic Instrument Control Technician to join the Plant Maintenance team VCH sites in Richmond, BC.

Apply today to join our team As an Electronic Instrument Control Technician with VCH you will: Perform skilled work in the installation, alteration, troubleshooting, maintenance, service and repair of electronic equipment and systems.

Interpret prepared sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, manuals, and manufacturer’s specifications.

Understand and operate computer software for electronic equipment/systems, and building automation systems (BAS).

All work performed on electronic equipment and systems is done in accordance with, where applicable, bylaws, regulations, codes and standards.

QUALIFICATIONS: Education & Experience Graduate of a recognized diploma program in Electronic Technology plus three (3) years’ recent, related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Industry and vendor equipment certifications as required.

Knowledge & Abilities Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

Ability to deal with others effectively.

Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications.

Ability to organize work.

Ability to operate related equipment.

The hours of work including days off and work area may be subject to change consistent with operational requirements and the provision of the Collective Agreement and applicable statutes.

Successful applicants may be required to complete a Criminal Records Review Check.
