This is a Contract position in Toronto, ON posted November 12, 2017.

Job Description

GreenSaver is looking for additions to our field staff to complete assessments for Commercial, Small Business, and Residential customers across Ontario.

JOB DESCRIPTION & RESPONSIBILITIES

· Conduct basic energy assessments in residential and commercial buildings following program protocols and standards

· Complete detailed and accurate data collection and measurements. Submit accurate and complete reports in a timely manner

· Interact with homeowners, building managers, and tenants, answering questions regarding energy efficiency, conservation programs and other related topics.

· Install energy savings measures such as LED light bulbs and other energy savings devices; such as power bars, block heater timers, low flow aerators, and pipe wrap as applicable to the Conservation Program being participated in

· Adhere to assigned schedules and arrive on location in timely manner

· Provide a high level of customer service

QUALIFICATIONS

· 1-2 Years of experience in customer service role, with a preference to experience working in a business to business environment.

· Minimum High School Diploma required post-secondary education is considered an asset.

· Certified Energy Advisor certificate an asset but not required.

· Work independently or as part of a team to engage businesses in funded energy conservation opportunities with minimal supervision.

· Candidates must maintain a professional demeanor.

· Excellent verbal and written communication, highly organized, attentive to detail with a positive attitude and interest in the energy and environment sector.

· Excellent problem solving skills /able to manage multiple competing priorities

· Proficient in the use of MS Word, Excel and Web Based Applications with an aptitude to learn internal software and relevant applications.

· Multilingual ability

– considered an asset.

REQUIREMENTS

· Completion of a Police Records check.

· Access to personal vehicle, 35% regional travel is expected

· Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends

· Valid Ontario driver’s license, full G required
