OEC Group is actively seeking to fill the regular full-time Inside Sales Coordinator role at the office located in Mississauga, ON.

Main Responsibilities:

Reporting to the General Manager, the Inside Sales Coordinator has the following main responsibilities:

  • Develop new client relationships through phone calls, emails and internet
  • Cold calls to initiate steps in acquiring new clients
  • Establish relationships and build strong rapport with prospects’ and customers’ decision makers
  • Sustain sales and development efforts with all customers’ accounts assigned under his/her responsibility
  • Source costing and prepare quotations to clients for all modes of transport
  • Complete the on-boarding process for new accountsCreate SOP’s for new accounts
  • Timely follow-up with customer inquiries
  • Actively and consistently promote all products and services of the Company
  • Assist in improving sales program, products and services of the Company
  • Prepare timely and useful reports on sales calls for management, using OECs’ CMS software
  • Regularly inquire customer satisfaction of client’s accounts under his/her responsibility and report promptly any dissatisfaction or dispute issues
  • Other tasks and duties assigned from time to time

Role Requirements:

  • Must have a minimum 2 years of experience in International Transportation (Ocean and Air shipments)
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong selling skills and persuasive abilities
  • Enthusiastic and result driven
  • Ability to apply efficient prospecting methods for clientele developmentStrong organization skills
  • Knowledge MS Office suite and experience with CMS (Customer Management System)
  • Must be willing to learn and grow in this position
