Backing the business objectives and deliver customer orders on time and in full (OTIF). This is a horizontal leadership supply chain planning role within a make-to-order/engineer-to-order environment.Whether you’re supply planning or capacity planning, you’ll support the overall manufacturing operations by creating master plans and scheduling. We’ll look to you to successfully coordinate and communicate orders between multi-functional teams and our clients.The best in this role will do more than ensure that we have multiple production plan scenarios they’ll lead members of the supply planning team and optimize the planning process in the short and long term.Practically speaking, your primary responsibilities will include:* Master Planning – generate and re-generate a complete master plan based on customer orders and forecasts.* Scenario Planning – create multiple production plan scenarios against a project/launch to give a high-level view of timelines to customer service and the sales team.* Production Scheduling – produce multiple production plan scenarios for production and launches that span multiple timelines.* Supply Planning – ERP, MRP RCCP (Rough Cut Capacity Planning), scheduling, inventory management systems and supply planning processes.* Capacity Planning – drive the capacity planning work process horizontally to cover mid-long-term engagement plans/goods.* Inventory Management – use control/hit charts and statistical methods to determine and correct buffers at any level of the product hierarchy.* Coaching – lead, coach and mentor members of the supply planning team.You’ll thrive in this role you can make decisions based on data, take ownership and are accountable for those decisions.  Your entrepreneurial mindset, drive and resilience will enable you to create structure in our changing environment.In this key role you’ll have the ability to heavily influence supply/demand imbalances and create a positive impact on the business.Working HereCosmetica is growing rapidly, and that means opportunities to learn while advancing your career. We are committed to developing great leaders and we provide progressive and ongoing leadership training.Qualifications* Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Operations Management/Industrial Engineering or Business* 5 years experience working in a supply planning management role with experience working in material planning* 8 years experience in supply planning in a consumer goods industry, preferably in manufacturing and/or cosmetics* 3 years experience in capacity planning including building Rough Cut Capacity Planning (RCCP) templates* Intermediate proficiency with Sales & Operating Plans (S&OP), Integrated Business Plans (IBP), Demand Planning, and Supply Chain Losses (SIOB)* Valid APICS, CPIM, CSCP certification, Supply Chain Management designation would be an asset* Experience with NPV, TIR and payback approach* Experience developing and leading continuous improvement processes, system implementations and planning tools development* Strong computer skills, and proficiency in ExcelHow to ApplyOur online application will give you the option to apply to this role as a complete person – not just a resume.
