Join our team Here’s the impact you’ll make and what we’ll accomplish together The Customer Relationship Marketing and Engagement team at TELUS is looking for an accomplished database marketing professional to join our team based in Toronto.

We are looking for an exceptional team member with a blend of Customer Targeting, Campaign Management/Measurement, Marketing & Customer Analysis skills.

Here’s how Execution of the marketing campaign from ideation to completion, return of investment (ROI) measurement & reporting Customer analytics to provide fact-based actionable insight to grow the Mobility business Effectively working within a dynamic and cross-functional environment and explaining complex concepts and analysis results to a diverse stakeholder community in business language Contribute to all phases of campaign management: ideation, planning, targeting, list generation, measurement, recommendation Assist the Manager to build excellent relationship with the Consumer Mobility marketing team to understand their business needs Work in conjunction with the Manager to clearly define analysis/campaign scope, goals, targeting & measurement strategy for marketing initiatives Assist in the translation of business requirements into technical specifications Extract, cleanse & modify raw data from data warehouse, conduct customer analysis or campaign measurement Analyze and interpret data in order to draw conclusions that drive the marketing strategies Automate process using Statistical Analysis System (SAS) or Procedural Language/Structured Query Language (PL/SQL) to drive operational efficiency Present analysis results and recommendations in business language in different forums/meetings Assist the Manager in cultivating a collaborative culture with internal business partners Ensure timely completion of analysis while maintaining high quality Assist the Manger to drive the adoption and development of new customer relationship management (CRM) initiatives Balance the demands of multiple concurrent projects while maintaining a high level of diplomacy Conduct ad-hoc analysis as required Contribute in other corporate strategic/CRM initiatives as required You’re the missing piece of the puzzle Sound knowledge & best practices in campaign management, customer analytics, data warehousing, segmentation, predictive modeling, and customer/market analysis Strong business acumen Detail orientation Strategic, innovative and systematic thinker Proficiency with SAS, Oracle, and other SQL-based tools Solid understanding of Home Solutions & Mobility technologies and infrastructure Ability to work diplomatically and collaboratively in a cross-functional environment Ability to translate data to analysis to insight to recommendations Strong presentation, communication skills to business audience Consult and influence business stakeholders to proactively add value to the end analysis Confidence to adapt to and manage changing, and occasionally conflicting, priorities Excellent time management, project management & organizational skills Ability to deliver high quality works in a fast pace environment Must be available for flexible hours; occasional requirement to support urgent customer communications on short notice Post-secondary degree in Information Management, Business, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics or other quantitative disciplines Great-to-haves 7 years of hands-on experience in all phases of campaign management: ideation, planning, targeting, list generation, measurement, recommendation 7 years of hands-on experience in extracting large volume of data from data warehouse using IBM Campaign, SAS, Oracle, and PL/SQL 7 years of hands-on customer analysis experience to understand customer behavior 7 years of hands-on experience in development and production of customer reporting and analysis in an On-line Analytical Processing (OLAP) environment 7 years of working experience in a market/business intelligence, database marketing and data warehousing environment Working knowledge of privacy regulatory requirements as relate to direct marketing Relevant analytical/campaign management experience in banking, retail, logistics, and management consulting or other industries with large volume of data will be given preferential consideration A bit about us Our business is connecting Canadians.
