Job Description


Our client is one of Canada’s most exciting and fastest growing restaurant Groups.

They seek a District Manager responsible for driving area sales and profit plans to budget through successful leadership, organizational plans, customer service, and outstanding execution of all field operations strategies, consistently across all stores. The District Manager is responsible for ensuring that all locations adhere to the Brand standards and assist them in maximizing their profitability by providing guidance and advice


  • Leading restaurant revenue, profit, expansion and guest satisfaction goals by planning, leading and directing the operation of the restaurants within their region.
  • Work with multiple stores and Restaurant Managers across a region.
  • Responsible for in-store visits and reviews.
  • Ensure a safe and protected environment for their workers and customers.
  • Review Mystery shopper results with franchisees and store managers
  • Write reports weekly on Operations of Restaurant Managers and Store performance.
  • Controls budget in respective corporate stores

    – keep and maintain a budget for the region, and make sure stores are staying on budget as well – food costs/labor costs.

  • Assist franchisees in maximizing their profitability by providing guidance and support during the visit to the store
  • Lead and direct the development of Restaurant sales goals and action plans for store teams directly tied into measurable results done timely and consistently.
  • Quality Control – ensure Company Standards are met – cleanliness, discipline.
  • Responsible to manage all stores consistently towards customer service standards, feedback and recommendations for improvements.
  • Ensures that all employees are current and up to date with product and menu knowledge and product use through a commitment to formalized training and development within prescribed time lines and standards.
  • Leadership skills – Shows leadership, and maintains a professional demeanor and helps crew members meet the standards for quality customer service.
  • Guides the store managers of both corporate or franchise units to develop their talent.
  • District-wide customer satisfaction and measuring the financial performance of respective locations.
  • Inspires a team of great people committed to creating a welcoming environment.
  • Weekly Store Reports – Collect Review for Management Meetings all necessary reports (Sales, Payroll, Inventory and all other relevant) from Managers.


  • Business related Diploma or Degree preferred.
  • Extensive experience (5 years and over) in Food and Hospitality Industry with Specific Restaurant Operations Management preferred.
  • District or Multi Unit Manager or equivalent level position (3 years).
  • Experience in analyzing financial budgets and statements.
  • Experience in complex, fast-paced Restaurant environments.
  • Experience in managing multi-unit environment.
  • Experience with Standard Human Resource Policies and Procedures regarding hiring and termination of staff.
  • Knowledge of Provincial Health and Safety/WSIB procedures required for operation of the restaurant business.
