Job Description

A SaaS company specializing in software programs used globally by millions of students, educators, and adults is seeking an Education Sales Consultant (ESC) to join their team on a full time basis.

The ESC will join the sales team and develop new business opportunities and be a direct contributor which requires a consultative/strategic selling approach.

You are a sales professional with 2-5 years of B2B experience either as an inside sales rep, territory rep or in a business development role. You have experience developing a sales plan and building/managing a sales pipeline while converting prospects into sales. You enjoy connecting with prospects by phone, including both warm leads and cold-calling. You are also familiar with web-based presentation tools (LiveMeeting, Skype, GoToMeeting, etc.) and comfortable using CRM tools. Your background includes a University degree and training in sales techniques for consultative selling.

Deliverables:

Drive new business sales for 2018 and beyond.

Consistently deliver tremendous value to clients by thoroughly understanding their needs using a thoughtful and probing discovery process.

Actively manage and report on pipeline, status of the business, and forecast revenue.

Meet and/or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas.

Make outgoing sales calls seeking new school and district clients.

Handle incoming calls and successfully convert prospects.

Utilize CRM (Salesforce) to document all activity, plans and communications daily.

Conduct sales presentations (primarily online) with prospects.

Participate positively and actively in weekly, monthly and annual sales meetings and company functions as appropriate.

Travel required approximately 6-10 times a year.
