We are looking for a highly motivated Director, Multi-Residential, Asset Management to join our North American residential business based in Toronto.

In this role, you will have central, senior responsibility for the leading the asset management activities in the Canadian residential portfolio.

You will lead a team including two engineers deploying at $20MM capital investment program to our assets as well as an asset management analyst and administrative assistant.

This is a highly collaborative role in our platform includes approximately 20 residential assets and 2 senior living assets as well as significant activity in our residential development sites and collaboration with our Canadian Investments team.

Oxford has grown its North American multi-residential portfolio on a consistent basis over the last 10-years through acquisition and development to over $3.2 Billion in value in 9 markets with plans for continued growth in our 2025 Strategic Plan.

As a member of this team, you will be responsible for: Articulating portfolio strategy, reviewing valuations and executing annual asset management plans Actively collaborating around acquisition, disposition and financing activities in our portfolio Identifying and executing residential development opportunities with development team Maintaining and building industry contacts (brokers, developers, financing, owner/managers) Performance and Market oversight of internal property management teams Acting as Oxford’s key representative for third party partner relationships Driving the assumptions behind the preparation of the annual budget plans Approval and oversight on capital budgets and capital investment to drive returns Traveling to residential assets on a monthly or quarterly basis or as required To succeed in this role, you have: 7-10 years of related experience in institutional real estate with an understanding of operating results, valuations, investment returns, acquisition and development proformas is a must An undergrad degree in Commerce, Real Estate, Urban Planning, Finance or Accounting Experience using MS Office Suite with an emphasis on Excel based Financial Modelling, including NPV, IRR and equity valuations across capital structures Superior written and verbal communication skills coupled with an ability to build compelling cases that demonstrate value and can be used to gain buy-in from Oxford senior executive team Excellent relationship building, persuasion and presentation skills and willingness to embrace collaborative sharing of knowledge within a teamwork environment Flexibility and willingness to work evenings and occasional weekends to complete important initiatives and travel as required Drive to achieve results and are continuously striving to deliver the highest performance Our story: Oxford Properties Group connects people to exceptional places, and is the owner, developer and manager of some of the world’s best real estate assets.
