The opportunity Are you a talented and proven leader who motivates teams and provides exceptional customer service?

We are looking for Managers and Senior Managers to join our dynamic team.

Our teams of professionals help our clients’ manage risk so they can focus on their core business.

By intimately understanding each client’s business, we convert information into insights to uncover hidden opportunities to improve client efficiency and performance.

As part of the management team, you will be required to lead KPMG’s audit teams and ensure the correct accounting practices and methodologies are applied to our clients.

Clients will look to you to add value to their business throughout the audit engagement.

Join a winning team What you will do Detailed review of notice to reader working paper files, including unaudited financial statements and notes thereto.

Preparation and review of personal and corporate income tax returns.

Develop and maintain relationships with client management, acting as the primary relationship manager with certain clients.

Schedule a team of accountants with varying levels of experience to provide services to a wide variety of clients.

Coach, guide and mentor staff accountants.

At times, business needs arise and employees are required and agree to work beyond their normal work day or work week to fulfill the accountabilities required for their job.

Likewise, people need time to devote to personal matters, and our approach to flexibility provides for this.

What you bring to the role Strong knowledge of Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises (ASPE) and Canadian corporate and personal tax; experience with HST and payroll preferred but not required.

Ability to work both independently, but also provide supervision and guidance in a team environment.

Demonstrated ability to leverage staff through effective delegation and reviewing of work.

Currently holding a Canadian CPA designation strongly preferred At least five years of work experience in a professional accounting firm environment delivering quality service and value to clients.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred but not required: knowledge of QuickBooks, Simply Accounting, etc.
