Position: As the Senior Manager you will lead all projects and initiatives across the GWO Operations Control
– Reconciliation Department within Canada and globally ensuring specific goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives.

Ensures all activities conducted are following governing regulations, internal policies, and procedures.

We are looking for a strong performer who is ready to take on new challenges, get into the weeds and work hands-on with regulatory and system initiatives.

Accountabilities: Responsible and accountable for the execution, implementation, delivery and success of all projects internally within the Reconciliation team and in collaboration with other GWO utilities, and our GBM and Wealth Management business partners Implement multiple projects often involving numerous internal and external stakeholders.

Monitors project milestones, financial delivery, resource availability, issue management process and resolution Understands business needs, document / map existing conditions, identify stakeholder / technology / data requirements, complete gaps assessments, propose solutions, execute assigned tasks and support cross-functional engagements, as necessary, to meet overall project objectives Focus on process improvement and operational changes that will support GWO and other business lines such as GBM and Wealth Management and enhance the overall effectiveness/revision of old processes Understanding departmental and client needs while collaborating with our business partners to focus on building strong relationships and encourage positive experiences Continually develop methods to measure the success of a project/initiative through metrics, performance and improvements while identifying and recommending opportunities to leverage, reuse and scale Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.

Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct risk Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge Requirements: 3-5 years of IT project management experience
– which includes a track record of managing projects of high complexity, risk and large budgets 3-5 years of Reconciliation and Accounting experience Ability to understand business language and translate into technical terminology Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related discipline Strong communication (verbal/written/presentation) Analytical and problem-solving skills are necessary Organized, able to multi-task, work well under pressure, and handle multiple projects/initiatives all within tight deadlines An in depth understanding of cash and securities transactions (Fixed Income, Equity, Money Market, Derivatives, FX, Nostro accounts, Banking, etc) Strong understanding of accounting and reconciliations processes Experience and working knowledge of Broadridge (ADP), IMPACT, GLOSS, Corona and TLM Proficient in Microsoft Office
